Service Description
MPOWR Basketball Academy is a program for beginners new to the sport or with limited experience. In the Academy our professional trainer introduces concepts for playing basketball: ball handling, passing, finishing, & defensive concepts. Competitive play is incorporated, allowing young athletes to apply what they’re learning and become more comfortable competing against a defender. Each week, a new concept/skill is introduced. Let’s master & build your fundamentals together! Program focus: agility, defense, ball handling, passing, finishing, shooting, competing against a defender, & basketball concepts & terminology. Program dates & schedule 11 weeks, Tuesday Sept 11th - Thursday Nov 21st (No class Oct 29 & 31) Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:15 - 7:15 pm Location: Immanuel Lutheran Church, 500 Immanuel Rd, Pflugerville, TX 78660 Training attire: MPOWR Training shirt to every class, black bottoms, basketball shoes. Adt'l training shirts can be purchased at mpowr-training.com/shop. Select "Official Training Shirt" Be sure to bring your basketball & water Cost: One time registration fee of $65 due at booking (includes 2 training shirt for new students. 1 training shirt for returners), 4 payments of $165. Cancellation Policy
Ready to start your journey? To join a basketball program, sign a waiver, enroll in a pricing plan, then register. Pricing plans show up as a subscription and allow you to register for certain classes. Because pricing plans are significantly discounted from the daily drop-in rate, your subscription cannot be cancelled once enrolled. You will not receive credits for missed classes. You are financially responsible for the cost of the basketball program once you enroll, regardless of how often your athlete participates. Inclement Weather In the event of inclement weather that prohibits training services from being rendered, make-up sessions will be allotted. Make-up sessions may be clumped together with like programs. Training dates/times will be provided by MPOWR. If you decide not to take advantage of it, no other offer will be extended to you. You will not receive a credit for declining.
